1. Local-First Processing
Most tools use browser APIs, WebAssembly, or JavaScript to process content on your device. The processing mode shown on a tool determines whether its input stays local or whether a network-assisted dependency is involved.
2. Network-Assisted Tools
Some tools, such as network diagnostics or media features, may load an external library or contact a third-party service. Those tools disclose the dependency and do not send local file contents unless the tool explicitly says they do.
3. Minimal Essential Storage
We use browser local storage for preferences such as bookmarks, theme selection, recent navigation, and opt-in tool drafts. Word Counter saves text only after you enable its browser-save setting; turning that setting off or clearing the draft removes the saved text. You can also clear site data through your browser settings.
4. External & Third-Party Links
